Still more Character Ideas - again

Sorcerers in Eberron tend to focus more on the Cosmic dragons, and the prophecy of the Dragons, rather than power alone.
They select simple weapons, and may not wear armor.
From Droam, a single class Sorcerer has Survival as a class skill.  All Sorcerers have Knowledge Arcane as a class skill, and they gain 2+Int modifier skill points per level.  This drives a focus on Wisdom and Intelligence.  Spell casting drives a focus on Charisma.  Body stats tend to suffer from this build, which is unusual for Shifters.  Hit points are 1d4 per level.
As a shifter, the character could gain his choice of shifted powers, but it would be hard for someone without armor to say no to +2 AC bonus and +2 to his Con (in effect, +1 hit points per level).

I still don`t like this.  Grrr.  I give up – Google it!

Well this will teach me something.  I basically want to make both Knowledge Arcane and Survival class skills.  There was a feat in the Eberron Campaign Setting all along called Education.  At 1st level only, and (it isn`t listed as a prerequisite, but I would make it one) from any civilized land where formal schooling is possible (Droam is out), you gain all Knowledge skills as class skills, and a +1  bonus on any two Knowledge Skills of your choice!
Laugh, laugh damn it.  It`s funny!
Okay so the upshot is that I could add a Knowledge (like Knowledge Arcana) to any class that doesn`t already have it.  That means I could handily be a Ranger or a Scout (if permitted) or even Druid and still have Knowledge Arcana.  And that finally brings us down to the class choice we need.

To leave the door open for Cyre Avenger, you need only be of Cyre, have the Track feat, and Gather Information and Sense Motive as class skills.  Knowledge Arcana doesn’t figure here, but it is an absolute for restoring the land.  Rangers and Druids don`t have Gather Info or Sense Motive, but Thieves and Bards do.  Becoming a Cyre Avenger requires that I do what I knew at start and rejected then, multiclassing.  Healing Cyre as a land is more business for a Druid.

Or he could be a rogue from Q`barra.  Q`barra natives, as long as they are typical (fighters and rogues qualify) can have survival, Education can still be taken as a level one feat in Q`bara (but not from Hope).  This means you can have Knowledge Arcana as a class skill for a Rogue.  And as a Rogue you get Sense Motive and Gather Info as class skills as per the Player`s Handbook.  You need Track, which can be taken as a Rogue (and by the description works as per a Ranger, PH 101).  Dammit, it still won`t work because you`ve just chosen two homelands – Displaced Cyre (for Cyre Avenger) and Q`barra native (for the Survival skill).  It could still be done without Arcane knowledge, but then you`d never learn yourself how to heal the land.  So that`s the choice…

1.      To be a Cyre Avenger, and to hunt those responsible to crimes against the citizens of Cyre.
2.      To be something else, a Ranger or Druid perhaps, and focus on healing the land of the Mournland, studying the odd and uncontrolled magics of the land and overcoming its dangers.

The two paths don`t cross.  At least, not without multiclassing.  Returning to the long ago forgotten interest in the Sarlonans, it should be hard at all to build a Ranger from Q`barra, who could be caught up in some kind of conflict with the Inspired, but wants to work towards healing the suffering of the Cyrans.  I think that`s my character class, then.
